Rachel had her first high school tennis match on Saturday. I was so proud of her. Her partner is Grace, who is a sophomore. They played the #1 doubles spot for JV, but typically won't play that spot. (More like 2 or 3 doubles). They had to play two matches, since they didn't have enough players, so they won one and lost one. The game that they lost, Rachel won her serves and played well.
In the picture, the rest of the players (minus 2) were watching her match and cheering her on. It was cute to have all that support from her team, and even better that it's the match they won. -- Crazy, proud, tennis Mom.

Wish so much we could watch her in action!! I remember her tenacity playing volleyball with the Amazons. What an athlete--she gets it from her grandma, of course :)
