Preston, Heather, Wesley and Abby started school on Tuesday, August 16. They are all attending school in Severance which is about 20 minutes from here. The two schools just opened within the last year or two. The principal at the Elementary school is LDS, so that is very nice. The Principal at the middle school is very nice and has taught at schools here in our town for years. So far we are very happy and all have adjusted well. Preston went to school there last year and Heather is excited to start middle school, with all the fun the goes with it. Lockers, lots of classes, sports, etc. One last milestone, Abby is in 1st grade, so goes to school ALL day. She loves it and all have done well to wake up way earlier than we are use to. The little ones use to wake up at 7:30 and now we are out the door at 7:15-7:20. Even today (Saturday) a few woke up automatically in the 6 o'clock hour.
The cool middle schoolers wouldn't let me get out of the car to take their picture in front of the school. Yes, Preston is pushing 6 feet!

To keep myself somewhat sane, I go to the store and buy all the school supplies and then they can "shop" in the living room. I know it's not as fun, but it works better for me. I always have to go back for more, but this got them started.
