labor day

For Labor Day our choices were to stay home and clean the garage or basement (obviously choices made by me, the Mom)or to go up to Estes Park (the mountains close to home, and the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park-for those of you not from here), also a choice made by me. We went up to the mountains and had a great picnic lunch, played in the river, and went on a walk along the river to a lake. It was a gorgeous day and we had a fabulous time as a family. We then hurried back so Joel could go to football practice. It was a short trip, but that's likely what made it a great day.

With football for 3 boys, we won't be able to go anywhere on Saturdays, so it was a fun getaway.
